Mason scores 8 points
Misses out on countback to Mickey Dyer
Will be First Reserve for Aussie Champs
Mason Campton just missed out on countback for the chance to ride in the 3 round Australian Championships
Having scored 8 points from his 5 rides he only missed out to Mickey Dyer of Redcar Bears who beat him in the race in which they were racing together.

Mason was disappointed and felt he had "a bit of a shocker" only scoring 2 points from his first three rides but then rolling off 2 wins in his last 2 races.

In consolation he is first reserve for the 3 meetings to be held at Gillman, Undera and Kurri Kurri.

Mason said "Went 1,0,1,3,3, got 8 points and only missed out on countback because Mickey Dyer beat me in a race!""So I'm first reserve and am going to travel and do the rounds and hopefully get a ride in the 3 rounds"

In the meantime Workington Speedway and in the process of completing the paperwork to complete the full transfer of Mason Campton from Glasgow Speedway to make him a fully fledged Comets asset.
