Latest update from California on our very own Kenny Ingalls.

When the 2012 season started, Kenny was trying different setups with his bikes and was beginning to deliver good results. He had joined the USA World Cup team in Poland in May and had some excellent practice rides on their tracks with team scouts looking on. He received multiple offers from them for the 2013 season.

Kenny had signed a contract for the Wolverhampton Wolves elite league team for the remainder of the 2012 season and had competed in two elite league races scoring 5 and 6 points respectively. His home team, the Workington Comets also purchased him as an asset of their team.

After being taken out in the second heat of the race while leading, Keith Denham, owner of the Workington Comets, commented that he had never seen such a horrific crash in all his time in Speedway. The crash was described by team manager, Tony Jackson, as needless and reckless of which Kenny was the innocent victim.

Although this was a horrific crash with multiple injuries, Kenny is a fighter and has vowed to be back racing. It has been almost six months since the crash and he has started the process of coming back with therapy and light weights. His drive and positive attitude to succeed really amazes me!!

Kenny wants to thank all his sponsors for all the support they have given him and looks forward to working with you all again.

We at Ingalls Racing want to thank all the fans that have supported Kenny. You are all so appreciated. It all helps these guys when they are down to get back up and stay positive.

Thanks so much,

Kevin, Kris, and Kenny
