Rich Joins Lakeside on Loan
Comets Fixtures take Priority
Comets Captain Rich Lawson has signed to double up with Lakeside Hammers
The Comets promotion were contacted late last week by Jon Cook to ask permission to speak with Richard.

Richard was only too happy to take up the offer having missed out on what was thought to be promised place at Peterborough.

Even though Lakeside is a Friday track, Richard has the facilities in his van to be able to get a good nights sleep hence arrive at Derwent Park on a Saturday night raring to go, and the Elite league and small track experience will only do him good which will benefit the Comets.

As he will be doubling up, all Comets fixtures will take priority.

Richs' opportunity comes after Lakeside refused to re-negotiate Richie Worralls contract which he reportedly signed at the end of last season. The Lakeside promotion go into more detail in their press release www.lakesidehammers.co
