Comets young reserve Ashley Morris has sustained a wrist injury in a fall whilst riding for his NL club Dudley at Stoke and is out of the match at Somerset
Ashley reported in to the Comets management this morning after visiting the hospital to report that he has been informed that he has tendon damage in his wrist but "nothing is broken".
He has been advised to rest it for 10 days but insisted he hoped he would be "alright after a couple of days"
This means Ashley will miss our visit to Somerset tomorrow and the Comets are currently searching for a National League guest to ride in his place.
Ashley, who has been riding really well at the moment and scored 7 paid 9 at the weekend was riding in his second meeting in one day for the Dudley Heathens.
We will bring you any updates when we get them
