Illness costs Kyle his last chance of lifting British under-19 title
Kyle Howarth has been ruled out of this evening's British under-19 Championship at Coventry due to illness.
Comets team manager Tony Jackson said: "It is very disappointing for him as I know he was looking forward to the meeting as this was to be his last chance to win the under-19 Championship because he, like Ashley, will be too old by next season.
"Hopefully he will recover to take his place in the Comets side tomorrow for our tough home double-header against Edinburgh, which marks the start of our four play-off matches.
"In the meantime our under-19 championship hopes now sit fully on Ashley's shoulders. Hopefully he can do us proud!"
