The two Aussie riders in the 2014 Comets line up will be contesting the Aussie Championship next month
Josh has been rewarded for his form shown in the UK in 2013 and his recent Queensland Championship win by being named as one of the eight seeds for the three-round Australian Championship.

The other seven seeds are: Chris Holder, Jason Doyle, Troy Batchelor, Cameron Woodward, Rohan Tungate, Dakota North and Jack Holder, with Darcy Ward being a notable absentee after deciding to 'sit-out' this year's title race.

Meanwhile Mason must compete in the qualifying round on Friday 3rd January at his home Kurri Kurri track.

Providing he finishes in one of the top eight qualifying positions he will join the eight seeded riders in the three-round series, which starts at Kurri Kurri the next day, January 4th, then moves on to Undera (Victoria) on Wednesday January 8th and finishes at Gillman (South Australia) on Saturday January 11th.

We say 'Good luck' to both Mason and Josh in their Aussie title hunt.
