Richard Lawson will guest at number one this Saturday against Edinburgh in place of the injured Josh Grajczonek.
Last year's number one and skipper Richard Lawson will ride for the Comets as a guest replacement on Saturday for our injured number one Josh Grajczonek.
Josh, who suffered a broken nose, eye socket and cheek-bone in a horrendous crash at Coventry a week and a half ago, is still recovering from the operation on his face, which took place last Thursday and he will obviously not be fit for this weekend's crunch clash against the unbeaten Edinburgh Monarchs.
Comets team manager Tony Jackson said: “Once Josh was injured and still recovering from the operation on his face there was only really one rider that we could call upon as a guest; last year's number one and skipper Richard Lawson, the new Derwent Park track record holder."
