Comets' Injury Updates

Next week could be an important week for injured Comet's riders Ashey Morris and Simon Lambert
As both boys have appointments with their respective Consultants.

Ashley Morris travels to Cambridge for a CT Scan and Consultation on 18th August which will hopefully confirm some progress for Ash on his road to recovery. Ashley seems quite cheery all things considered and we believe that last week he attended his first speedway meeting since his crash. We hope it's not too long before Ashley is well enough to visit us at Workington.

Simon Lambert had the cast off his left hand today (Monday) and is in dressing and bandages now. They were pleased with the progress the hand appears to be making. He has an appointment with the Consultant and further x-rays on 22nd August, after which he hopes to begin intense physio in order to get his injured hand back in to shape.

Simon came to Peterborough to support his team mates which was great to see and we look forward to seeing him back in a Comet's race jacket.
