Scunthorpe v Workington PL Sunday 31st Aug
Thu 28 Aug 2014 by Comet's Press Office
Comets are without the services of Skipper Rene Bach and No 1 Josh Grajczonek.
Both riders are taking part in the FIM Speedway World League Final at Zielona Gora in Poland that afternoon. Rene will be representing the 2013 Danish Champions Esbjerg, while Josh has just received a late call up by Poole to ride in place of Vaclav Milik who is riding in the European under 21's.
Contrary to the "word on the street", we are allowed to have a Guest and use the R/R facility. We will be using R/R for Rene and a Guest for Josh. Ironically, the Guest we had lined up for Josh has been injured so it was quickly back to the drawing board to find another suitable candidate.
We can now confirm that the Guest for Josh on Sunday afternoon will be Rich Lawson.

Josh and Rene will travel to Stansted immediately after the double header on Saturday, in order to make it for practice.
