It is all systems go for the final meeting of the 2014 season at Derwent Park this evening.
The overnight rain has had little impact on the track, which looked in very good condition this morning considering the time of year.

With a dry day forecast and a strong drying wind blowing, everything is in place for tonight's home fixture with the Berwick Bandits where a victory by more than seven points would see the Comets bring down the curtain on their Derwent Park campaign for 2014 by lifting the Border Trophy.

The races will be followed by the traditional end of season speeches from the Comets.

Tonight's line-ups are:

1 Ulrich Ostergaard (Guest for the injured Josh Grajczonek), 2 Ricky Wells, 3 Rene Bach (captain), 4 Mason Campton, 5 Kyle Howarth, 6 Ryan MacDonald (NL guest for the ill Joe Jacobs), 7 Simon Lambert.

1 Matej Kus, 2 Danny Phillips (NL guest for absent David Bellego), 3 Kevin Doolan, 4 Rider Replacement for the absent Steen Jensen, 5 Claus Vissing (captain), 6 Alex Edberg, 7 Ritchie Hawkins (Guest for injured Matthew Wethers).
