The Workington Comets will be holding their Official Press and Practice session to herald the start of the 2015 Premier League season at Derwent Park on Saturday 21st March.

Following photographs and interviews with the media the seven Comets riders are expected to take to the track shortly after 12 noon.

Spectators are encouraged to come along and get their first glimpse of the 2015 Comets septet in action, with the grandstand being open to the public from around 11:45am. As per previous years admission is to be via a donation, which this year is going towards the ‘Great North Air Ambulance' - who of course paid Workington Speedway a visit last season in order to take the injured Chris Mills to hospital.

Supporters are reminded that if they are yet to purchase their Season Ticket for 2015 then Season Tickets will be on sale during the afternoon, as will books of tickets. Supporters can of course purchase, and take away with them on the day, a season ticket now that photographs are no longer required.

Following Press and Practice the Comets will be staging their first home fixture of 2015 just seven days later, when the Redcar Bears visit Derwent Park in the second leg of the A66 Trophy, with the action getting underway at 7:00pm on Saturday 28th March. This follows the first leg away at Redcar two days previously.
