The Comets were represented by Rusty Harrison and skipper Rene Bach at the second Northern Clubs Launch, which took place today (Monday) at Newcastle's Brough Park.
As well as posing for photographs and taking part in tv interviews for the local news and sport programmes on both BBC and ITV the Comets duo also took the opportunity to get in a few practice laps around Brough Park.

Comets co-promoter and team manager Tony Jackson, and co-promoter Steve Whitehead, were also in attendance; along with riders and management from Berwick, Redcar and of course Newcastle as the countdown to what promises to be yet another exciting Premier League season gathers momentum.

The Comets first match of the new season is this coming Thursday (26th March) at Redcar in the first leg of the A66 Challenge, which gets underway at 7:30pm.

The Redcar Bears then visit Derwent Park in the return fixture this coming Saturday evening (28th March), with the action getting underway at 7:00pm as the new look Comets take to the track for the first time in front of their own fans.

But, before that, fans are reminded that the annual 'Meet the Riders' forum takes place in The Waverley Hotel, Gordon Street, Workington at 7:30pm this coming Friday, 27th March.

This will give all supporters the opportunity to ask any questions they wish to the Comets Riders and Management ahead of the 2015 season.
