The Comets have been drawn against the Glasgow Tigers in the semi-final of the League Cup, which will be raced over two legs with no tactical rides permitted.
Meanwhile the second semi-final will feature Sheffield against either Somerset or Rye House, with the identity of the fourth semi-finalist not confirmed until after this coming Friday's Plymouth v Somerset League Cup group fixture.

The visit of Glasgow to Derwent Park will not only feature former Comet Richard Lawson but it will also see a return to Derwent Park of Comets asset Rene Bach, who joins the Tigers on loan later this week to replace the outgoing Ben Barker.

At present no dates have been confirmed for the two-legged tie to be raced.
