The Comets make their fifth tv appearance as a seven-man team this evening when they appear live on Sky Sports at 7:30pm in their Premier League fixture from Berwick.
The Comets go into the meeting at full-strength if not a little race-rusty having only had one meeting in the past 23 days owing to a series of postponements due to the weather.

However, every member of the side is confident of picking up a result on a track where we have done well in the past and it promises to be a great night of tv viewing for any fans unable to make the trip over to the east coast.

Going into this evening's televised meeting the Comets are looking for their first ever win in front of the tv cameras in what will be their fifth live appearance in a team fixture, with all of them having been away from home.

Comets team manager Tony Jackson said: “We have won the Premier League Fours on tv in the past but when it comes to a full team meeting we are certainly long overdue a win; having had two defeats and two draws down the years. We actually raced at Sheffield in the first ever Premier League fixture to be broadcast live back in 2001, while our last tv appearance was at Scunthorpe in 2013, which ended in a draw.

“Everyone connected with the club is very much looking forward to this evening and Berwick is a big track, much like our own, where we have had some success down the years; so we will certainly be looking to put in a solid performance and hopefully we can get that first televised victory under our belt!”

The Comets will line up tonight as follows:

1 Ricky Wells (captain) 8.92
2 Mason Campton 5.62
3 Kenneth Hansen 7.28
4 Rasmus Jensen 6.42
5 Claus Vissing 8.06
6 Adam Roynon 4.60
7 Matt Williamson 3.00
