Workington will now have a change to their pairing for next Friday's PL Pairs at Somerset; with skipper Ricky Wells coming in to partner Claus Vissing for the showpiece event.
Ricky comes into the meeting to replace Kenneth Hansen who, having initially been named as one of the Comets pairing, has since been told that he now must fulfil a Danish League fixture next Friday evening, which of course clashes with the Premier League Pairs at Somerset.

But, with Ricky stepping into Kenneth's place the Comets - who have won the title six-times since 1999 - still have one of the top pairings for the meeting.

The parade gets underway at Somerset's Oak Tree Arena at 6:45pm next Friday (8th July) with the first race of the 23-heat programme getting underway at 7:00pm sharp.

A bumper crowd is once again expected for what is one of the highlights of the Premier League calendar, which takes place as usual on the night before the Cardiff Grand Prix.
