Following last Saturday evening's thrilling last race victory over Ipswich at Derwent Park the Comets head to Suffolk today for this evening's return match.
Unfortunately, as with last week at Redcar, the Comets will once again have to go into action without the services of Kenneth Hansen, who is again involved in the Swedish League play-offs - this time it is the second leg of last week's tie.

The Comets will again operate Rider Replacement for Kenneth at number 4, while Rasmus Jensen occupies the number 3 race-jacket this evening as he did last Thursday.

There is a further change behind the scenes; with neither team manager Tony Jackson nor co-promoter Steve Whitehead available to travel to Ipswich today the Comets have called upon the services of the experienced former Rye House team manager John Sampford to act as their team manager this evening.

The action gets underway at Foxhall Heath at 7:30pm and tonight's referee is Barbara Horley.

Workington ‘Thomas Armstrong' Comets
1 Ricky Wells (captain) 8.48
2 Mason Campton 5.63
3 Rasmus Jensen 6.06
4 Rider Replacement for Kenneth Hansen 7.40 (In Swedish Play-offs)
5 Claus Vissing 8.27
6 Adam Roynon 5.29
7 Matt Williamson 3.39
