A new date has today been agreed with Newcastle for our league visit to Brough Park following the rained off league fixture in June.
The Comets will now visit Newcastle on Monday 12th September at 7:30pm for what will be, weather permitting, the club's final away regular league fixture.

This makes it three matches in three days for Comets fans as Saturday 10th September sees the Comets host Glasgow in a re-arranged Premier League fixture at Derwent Park (this had originally been scheduled as the League Cup semi-final); whilst Sunday 11th September (5:30pm start) is the PLRC at Sheffield, where Workington will again be represented by skipper Ricky Wells.

Meanwhile, the Comets home leg of the League Cup semi-final is now 'provisionally' set for Saturday 24th September, but a new date is yet to be confirmed for the league visit of Redcar to Derwent Park as the initially agreed date of Saturday September 17th has now proved to be unsuitable to Redcar due to rider availability issues.
