The Comets now have a blank weekend as BOTH of this weekend's scheduled league matches have fallen victim to the weather!
With the Comets home fixture with Somerset having been called off at 9:00am today due to the forecast of rain throughot the day, which as we know duly arrived as predicted at 10:00am, the Comets promotion were then informed at 5:30pm today that tomorrow's planned league fixture at Peterborough is now also to be postponed.

As was been documented earlier in the week, the Panthers relaid their track in the build-up to tomorrow's double-header with Rye House and the Comets but, with the heavy rainfall that they have suffered today, the track has turned into something of a quagmire and cannot be resolved in time for tomorrow's meeting, leaving the Panthers management with no option other than to call the meeting off.

Details of when this weekend's two matches will now be raced will be announced as soon as possible following consultations with regard to rider availability.
