Ast Signs return as a Key Partner for 2017
It is with great pleasure that the Workington Comets management would like to announce that a deal has been done to have one of the leading companies in the area as one of our key partners again. Penrith based ‘Ast Signs' have agreed to rejoin the Comets and support us in taking the club into a new era.

As one of the UK's leading specialists in corporate branding, ‘Ast Signs' have a proven background in design, vehicle graphics and signage and take pride on providing their clients with exceptional products and service. Having been established in 2003 they provide a UK-wide fitting service.

Mark Aston, Managing Director, is a keen follower of Motor Sports and as well as supporting the Comets has deals in place with PBM Motorsport who have huge success on the British Superbike Circuit as well as MotoGP and other motor racing organisations.

Having last backed the Comets in 2015 they have since been focusing on the development of their new headquarters in Penrith, as the massive growth of their business necessitated a bigger and better base.

Steve Whitehead, Comets co-promoter, said of the deal: “It is great to have the support of Ast Signs once again, they are a very progressive company and we look forward to working with them this season. Mark and their Marketing Manager Katharine Binns have been great to deal with.

"To have Ast Signs on board as another key partner alongside our main sponsor ‘Thomas Armstrong Limited' and key partner ‘Kirkland Carpets' is fantastic for the image of our club."

Comets owner Laura Morgan added: “We would like to welcome Ast Signs back with us; and their support will be very much appreciated. We certainly look forward to welcoming Mark and his guests down at Derwent Park during the season.

“The support of local businesses like these and all of the others that get involved at every level is invaluable in making sure that we keep our wheels on track. I want to go on record to thank all of our sponsors; from our Main Team Sponsor down to the people that sponsor individual heats, as every single one of them is greatly appreciated and they all play an important role in the success of the club.”
