The Comets go to Ipswich tonight with a full-strength side as reserve Rob Shuttleworth has declared himself fit to return to action following his crash at Workington against the Witches on 27th May.
As a result of the crash he was ruled out for the mandatory 9 days with concussion, but it is the fracture to his thumb that has kept him out of the saddle for longer.
However, he is now fit to return, as is Matt Williamson, who had been set to miss the two rained off fixtures against Glasgow on the 10th and 11th June following his crash at Edinburgh the night before when guesting for Redcar.
For Williamson it will be his first appearance in the main body of the side after a storming start to his season saw him raise his average by well over two and a half points to jump out of the reserve berth and into the number 4 race-jacket.
Meanwhile, former Ipswich rider James Sarjeant has moved the other way, as he swapped places with Matt and now lines up at reserve.
For Craig Cook it is his first meeting in Comets colours since claiming his maiden British title at Belle Vue's National Speedway Stadium on Monday evening and, ironically, he will be in direct opposition to last year's British Champion; the Ipswich Witches number one Danny King.
But, for Thomas Jorgensen it is a return to being Craig Cook's team-mate as last night at King's Lynn they were on opposing sides as Thomas scored four points on his King's Lynn debut as they lost 45-48 at home to Craig Cook's Belle Vue in an SGB Premiership fixture!
