Sun 25 Jun 2017 by Comets Press Office
Thomas Jorgensen has now confirmed that he WILL BE FIT to race for the Comets today in our Knockout Cup clashes with Newcastle following his knee injury.
This means that both teams go into the matches at full-strength for what promises to be a superb day of speedway with matches at Workington and Newcastle to look forward to.

The weather forecast for both Workington and Newcastle is also good for today, so get yourself down to Derwent Park for the first leg, which gets underway at 1:00pm, and then we want as many of you as possible to travel over to Newcastle for tonight's second leg (which starts at 7:30pm) to support the Comets.

REMINDER - Season Tickets ARE VALID for today's home meeting AND ALSO an Adult can buy a ticket at Derwent Park for £25 that gives them admission to BOTH matches - representing a saving of £7 on the two individual admission prices!
