Comets skipper Craig Cook has confirmed that he will now also miss the Comets final fixture of the season; the visit to Glasgow this Friday evening.
Craig hasn't ridden for the Comets since sustaining a foot injury in the Comets final home fixture of the season against Newcastle on 7th October.

Having overcome that he rode for Belle Vue during the following week in the KO Cup final but has not been on a bike since then due to illness.

He confirmed today that he is still not fit to resume racing and so will miss the visit to Glasgow on Friday. In his absence the Comets will be able to bring in a guest at number one, with the identity of the guest hopefully being confirmed tomorrow.

Meanwhile the Comets will already be tracking two guests; former Comet Ashley Morris at number 4, in place of the injured Matt Williamson, and Scottish-based youngster Dale Lamb will ride as a guest at number 7 in place of Rob Shuttleworth.

The action up at Ashfield gets underway at 7:30pm on Friday.
