2017 Comet Thomas Jorgensen has confirmed that he does not need an operation on his troublesome knee injury, which has kept him out of action since mid-September.
Thomas, who will be in attendance at the Comets 'End of Season Do' at the Trades Hall, Workington, tonight said:

“I had the call early Thursday to say I don't need an operation, despite the fact that it was bad cartilage damage.

“I'm pleased with the news and now I'm working hard. I can get my bicycle out and go to Cannock Chase in Staffordshire close to where I'm based and also work hard with physio Steve Williams in Aldridge.

“I'm looking to get back on a bike in the New Year, but I'm really pleased with this news."
