We are asking all supporters, riders and officials to be aware of the new admissions procedure for this season.
In conjunction with Workington Town Rugby League Club the Workington Comets management have implemented a new system of gaining access to Derwent Park for meetings and matches.
There is now only one point of entry for all visitors; this is through the ticket office which is now located by the main gates to the car park.
THE GATES TO THE CAR PARK WILL OPEN AT 4:30pm.
People in CARS will be asked to pay for entry on going through the gates to the LEFT of the ticket office before parking their cars or vans. Visitors ON FOOT will be asked to go to one of the windows to the RIGHT of the ticket office to purchase a ticket or produce a pre-paid or season ticket.
Once supporters have their ticket they will filter through to get their tickets checked.
All supporters will then gain access to the stadium through the disabled access tunnel near the grandstand where they will be asked to produce their tickets again. 50/50 tickets and programmes will be available to buy at these points.
We kindly ask all visitors to allow a little extra time to gain access to the stadium until these new procedures are running smoothly. Could we also ask all officials and volunteers to report to the ticket office to collect their passes to the pit area.
Thank you for your co-operation.
