The Comets 16-year-old reserve Kyle Bickley qualified for the British Under-21 Final by claiming 9 points in last night's closely-contested second semi-final at Birmingham.
The local youngster won his opening ride and followed it up with two second places and two third places to book his place in the final.

Others qualifiers were the far more experienced Jack Thomas, Alfie Bowtell, Joe Lawlor, Taylor Hampshire, Nathan Greaves and Jack Smith.

Kyle will now take his place in the final on Tuesday 1st May at Berwick, alongside another Comets new boy and fellow Cumbrian Dan Bewley who, along with Robert Lambert, was seeded straight to the final.
