The Comets raced to their biggest win of the season so far with a 59-31 victory over Berwick at Derwent Park last night.
The Comets took the lead in the opening heat and were never troubled as they provided 13 out of 15 race winners and recorded five maximum heat advantages; all of which came in the second half of the meeting as the Comets strengthened their grip on the match.

Top scoring for the Comets in his first appearance at reserve was Rasmus Jensen with 13 points while he was well supported by Nicolai Klindt, who recorded a four-ride 12-point maximum and Rene Bach, who racked up 12+2; dropping his only point to Aaron Summers in heat 6 when the Bandits only race winner took his first heat win; the other came in heat 9.
