Following last night's Armadale horror show!
The Comets will be looking to bounce back from last night's heavy defeat at Armadale tonight when the two sides meet at Derwent Park in the return fixture as they continue to strive for a play-off place.

Last night's 65-25 defeat was the Comets worst loss since their defeat at Ipswich in August 2016 and saw the Comets continually out-gated by an Edinburgh side who made full use of any home track advantage.

It wasn't until the final heat (see above picture) when a Comet took the chequered flag as Nicolai Klindt ruined the paid maximum hopes of Ricky Wells and Victor Palovaara.

Comets team manager Tony Jackson said: "It really was a night to forget and whatever we tried we simply couldn't get out of the start on a par with them.

"Since our victory there in early June they have strengthened up, and obviously we have now lost Dan, but we haven't become a bad team overnight; we just could not get out of the gate and beat them to the first corner.

"Everyone was naturally very disappointed with their performance but they are determined to make it right tonight in what promises to be a tough but entertaining match at Derwent Park."
