To cover for the injured Dan Bewley on Friday and Saturday.
This weekend sees the Comets in action at Scunthorpe on Friday in the Championship Shield semi-final first leg and then at home in a double-header against both Newcastle and Redcar as they go in search of Championship points to try and reach the top-four play-offs.

At Scunthorpe the Comets have again called on the services of in-form Newcastle rider and former Scunthorpe and Workington rider Tero Aarnio, pictured above.

Back in May when the Comets went to Scunthorpe for a Championship fixture Tero stood in as a Comets guest on that occasion and top-scored with 15 points from seven outings, which included three race wins.

Meanwhile, for Saturday's home double-header the Comets have called upon the services of Berwick's Aaron Summers as a guest for the injured Dan Bewley.
