A successful day and night at The Railway Club
Britain's three-time World Champion Tai Woffinden entertained a packed Railway Club on Saturday evening with stories and opinions about his career in speedway.

The straight-talking Scunthorpe-born racer pulled no punches with his forthright views on the sport and his own ambition as he was interviewed on stage by BT Sport Speedway commentator Nigel Pearson.

Earlier in the day 'Woffy' had held a similar show to another attentive audience as well as meeting some of the sports young fans and posing for photos with them on a day they will not forget in a hurry.

Workington was the second date on a three-day mini tour that had seen him at Berwick the previous evening before heading to his hometown Scunthorpe the next day.
